9:42 am	LAZINESS!!! Well I have been extremely lazy over the past few months, as you can see since I have not posted anything since October :S greebo kept telling me to go post on lj but like I said I have been LAZY!! So guess what my first new years resolution is? I am going to stop being lazy and get off my bottom and post more :) Well I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. I know I did - first Christmas with greebo!! Then for new years had a bunch of my mates who I went to school with over and it was all going well till one of my mates starting doing stupid things and upsetting other people including me. She is a really good mate but when she is drunk its just best to stay away!! Anyway I wont go into that! How hard was it to go to work on Tuesday?!?! I need another holiday already! oooooh speaking of which me and greebo are sort of planning our holiday for this year. I say we are sort of planning it because I want to get it all organized and he just says wait til nearer the time when there are last minute deals!! We are probably going to go to Center Parcs, the new one in the Lake District cos I've not been to that one before. ohohohhohohhhhhhh it is me and greebos first year anniversary in about 2 weeks! I cant believe how fast it has gone! I suppose you could say we have had little ups and downs recently..........but now everything is going really well :) I miss him crazy amounts when I only saw him about 5 minutes previously.....oh what a silly soppy girl I am! Last night we went out for a chinese (which was soooooo yummy!) with some friends and then went to the cinema and saw Without a Paddle - very funny I certainly recommend it. Anyhow, I'll get to the point now. On the way back in the car greebo said to me "its good that we are still in the lovey dovey stage" and I was all like butterflies and wanted to give him a big hug and kiss but obviously that woudld have been very dangerous as he was driving! right enough of me being loved up........... Moving on to other things that are comin up. At the end of the month me and greebo are going to manchester to see greenday with our friend cyncinati (who is a student there) and hopefully her sister if she can make it. Then the next weekend I am going to Plymouth with two of the girlies to visit my friend at uni there. I will get into the swing of the student lifestyle....all good practice for when I go in October :) I think thats about all for now, I ought to do SOME work today!! 12:34 pm	just a quick update wow i must have been busy since i have not updated since friday!! well i had a good weekend. Friday night in southampton (see previous post) was good fun...then i had to drive home in the dark on the motorway...not done that before so it was a tad scary!! then on saturday me n greebo went to look at this funny old car and then we went to my dads house for lunch. Then in the evenin went to slug n lettuce in henley....was good fun and good to see my mate back from uni. Then on sunday mr greebo was hungover and demanded a cooked breakfast!! then the rest of the day i spent playing on my ps1....cradh bandicoot!! Monday was soooo tired but work was ok. Me n greebo got some dvds and beer in the evening so all was good :) Tonight we are going to watch Gone in 60 seconds i think. 1:32 pm	Why do Fridays go so SLOW?!? ah so its finally friday and the day is going too damn slow for my liking!! I just want to finish work and it will be the weekend :D Don't really think i have been up to much since my last post...have been working...the experiment is on hold at the mo since i have to make a device to stop it overheating before we can continue. Anyway...thats bit boring....other stuff i have done....some of my studying since i am going a management course for my gap year too. Its a kinda distance learning course cos all of the work is on the internet and i only have to go into college 5 times throughout the year. Well thats enough boring stuff.....this is what i will be doing on the weekend.... Tonight I am meeting up with some other gap year students who are doing placements like me and like me they are doing the management course. We are going out in Southampton which is cool because I haven't out in Southampton before. Unfortunately i will not be drinking cos i have to drive back home after. Actually not home but to greebo's. yeah!! can't wait to see my baby - I AM SOOO IN LOVE :D Then on Saturday me and greebo are going to look at some cars over in Camberley cos he really needs a car...for work and also cos i like him to drive me about hehe!! Then we will pop into my Dads house for lunch cos he lives near Camberley. That will probably be chaos cos i have 2 lil half sisters aged 5 and 4 and a half bro who is 1 and causes a lot of trouble. Then I have to go into town cos the stupid hands free kit i got last weekend is broken so i must repalce it. In the evening me and greebo are meeting up with some of my mates who i was at school with - one of my mates is back from uni for the weekend and havent seen her for a while so will be good to catch up. Oh yes my mum and her partner are away for weekend so i have free house :D Sunday I have to do boring stuff like tidying my room n dusting. But good news is i will be getting a computer in my room so no more having to kick my sis off the computer when i need to post on lj!! 1:49 pm	Mmm...lunch!! Ahh have just eaten my lunch! My rumbling tumbling tummy is satisfied. Have to go do some work soon - but first I will say a little more about my job. I work for a company that use fibre optics to monitor temperature and pressure down oil wells and other places. What I do is experiments in the lab on fibres. i have been working here for about a month and as yet it has been a bit slow and I haven't had that much to do. But today I am setting up my first experiment and it is quite messy - i end up with oil all over me!! This is because we have to simulate the conditions in the oil well in the lab. Anyway...I'll stop with the boring bit and get to the point - it looks like I am really going to enjoy work now since I will actually be taking readings and analysing data which is brilliant because I am getting the work experience I want so looks like my gap year will be a successful one!! sigh of relief. I managed to say what I was trying to...even if I did ramble on a bit and I probably could have said it in far fewer words! But hey...I like to talk :) Now I must be off to see to my experiment - I hope it hasn't blown up or anything like that!! Current Mood: satisfied (2 Comments |Comment on this)

8:26 am	Monday Morning!! Ahhh its monday morning and the start of another working week and for some reason I am in an good mood!!??!! I had a pretty good weekend, fri night I cooked for greebo (lucky him!) and we watched a movie...our house...it was a bit odd but quite funny. Then on saturday we went shopping and I bought new boots and a new PINK top, which I am wearing now in fact. Greebo bought me some pressies too! Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3 for my PS1 (I know not very advanced technologhy!!) But, I am soooo happy because they are my most favourite games in the world. So, I have been playing those games rather a lot and now my thumbs hurt!! Then on sunday I went to a craft fair with my mum....doesn't sound too exciting but i got a nice pair of earrings. 8:40 am	nearly the end of the workin week! ok so theres today and tomorrow to work... but hey its still nearly the weekend! any one got anything exciting planned? I dont think i have, will prob spent many hours with my lovely man, greebo. Today is starting off ok... didnt take me nealy as long as yesterday to get to work! (yesterday was my first day drivin to work you see) anyway...supppose i ought to actually do some work now! hope everyones day goes well xXx ps. to greebo: hope you arent late again! 9:42 pm	news of the cake ok folks....today the highlight of my day was icing the cake!! and eating it of course. i put butter icing on top and jam and cream in the middle and it was yum yum scrum! can't beleive how early it is and how tired i am, must be because all my energy is being used up digesting that large slice of cake i ate. or maybe because i had to get up earlier than what i am used to to give my bf a lift to work. anyway... gona get some kip now cos i have to go to kingston tomorrow for the first day of this managememt course which i am doing as part of my gap year. then its back to work on wednesday, after 10 days off, which i have spent being rather lazy!! anyway nite nite. 10:38 pm	My first entry ok everyone this is gonna have to be a quick entry... cos i must go to bed soon cos i have to get up early to give my darling boyfriend a lift to work...even though i have tomorrow off, i am being a kind taxi lady! also the novelty of drivin had not worn off yet cos i only passed my test last week so have been zoomin around in my little car! let me just say a few things bout myself: well, as u can see from what i have already written my sentences ramble on a bit! i suppose that is cos i suddlenly think of about 10 things to say at once and then i try to say em all before i forget them! so as u can see... i am just a tad forgetful. I forget what i have said to which person and when and then i get in a muddle. I'll give you an example, this morning i went over to my Dads house and decided i would stay for lunch. This simple decision landed me in a spot of bother. My darling bf was under the impression that i would be home for the afternoon and i kinda forgot to say that i would not be back til later on cos i was gonna have lunch and lunch at my dads normally takes bout 4 hours. so when i appeared at my bfs house he was not best pleased. opps! so now i am gone try to be less forgetful. and also less borin, cos that story i just recounted really was very borin. Oh well, it tells what i have done today, and i guess that is the whole point of a journal. Oh i have just remembered something excitin i did today! i baked a cake. And it wasnt a chocolate cake! Tomorrow i am going to ice the cake and then i shall gobble it up! ok, lets think of some other things about myself...i am taking a gap year at the moment, i am working in a lab to get some work ex before i go to Bath uni to study biochem next october. I'm living at home but i spend as much time as poss at my bfs. ok, one last thing to say bout myself, my hair is naturally wavy/curly-ish which annoys me from time to time so i like to straighten it. the problem is i get impatient cos with my crappy straighteners from Boots it takes forever so i am hoping that i will get ghds (super amazing straighteners) for my birthday next month. thats not a hint btw, i just felt like sayin bout my unstraight hair. well, thats all folks! i said this was gonna be quick but i appear to have got carried away! oh well i will probably write more rubbish tomorrow!
